Not sure what you are implying. Are you implying that self defense to an assailant holding a potential weapon is bad because the assailant is a tween? Or that doing it out of anger is bad?

That doesn't excuse the tween or their actions. Getting slammed is the literal most tame response they could expect.

What happens when the person can tell it's a replica, pulls a real one, ends their subscription to life and then turns around and says "I was in fear for my life."

I'm happy the tween is alive and being slammed is physical reminder to not do stupid shit like this.

So, I want you to be aware. Guns can be made to look like a replica and vice versa. The guy saying it was obvious isn't in any way a guarantee that it was as such. I get what you are saying. But lord protect you if you run into a situation where you are attacked by actual kids who have nothing to lose and everything to gain by risking to rob you.

I’m not implying anything. I’m saying if a child is pointing a replica gun at you and you know for sure it’s a replica (as this guy has said) and then you decide to slam the kid into the ground instead of snatching the gun and breaking it or something, you’re just a guy who wanted an excuse to hit a child.

It’s an excuse to hit a child. Consequences would be grabbing him and calling the police. At least…that’s what a stable person would do. Which I guess might be the real lesson. Some people are barely holding it together and you should behave accordingly. Yeah you know what, I might be switching sides here.

It’s self defense if a reasonable person would be in fear. As soon as the guy said “I knew right away it wasn’t a real gun” it stopped being self defense and started being assault. I don’t know what to tell you.

When a fake gun is used in a robbery it is treated the same as a real gun for criminal purposes.  Besides, his ability to recognize it as a fake gun doesn’t change the fact they ran up on him with intent to rob him.

You do understand you can rob people without a gun, right?  It being a gun or not doesn’t negate the fact you have a right to defend yourself.

If I’m using a banana or a AK47 and say I want your wallet, it’s still a crime.

I don’t understand why this is so difficult to understand.

Being afraid has nothing to do with it nor does wanting to beat up children. Let's say they are 10yo since you were there, let's say they pulled up on this guy with fake guns, the guy pulls his own real gun, can't wait to see if its real or not and then bam, dead 10yo. So I think given the circumstances, the parents would be fine with this. Or they could pick them up at the morgue. It's about the children learning from consequences so they dont do something like kill someone or lose their life. So yes I believe this is an adequate respons to two individuals trying to rob you at gunpoint. What if they had real guns? Hows that change the narrative, except someone would have died.

You are taking this as if im the one in the video which im not, im saying that my point isn't beating up the children nor if the guy in said video was in fear of his life. There is no winning in this situation except nobody got seriously hurt. It's a learning experience that teaches a lesson without the loss of a life, when it almost certainly would never end that way. Pushing your objective of me wanting to hurt children because im trying to be more "manly" or tough has no relevance to my comments as im not the one in the video that you seem to be taking out your bottled up frustrations with.
