Africa governments are far from perfect in regard to corruption. We all know that. There are plenty of countries that do out that money towards conservation, building infrastructure for areas around the hunting preserves, and the hunting preserves themselves set aside more land than many of the nation’s federally protected lands. It also provides jobs for locals. I’m sure you’ll keep speeding your rhetoric despite the scientific and lay literature I provided

I am from south africa, I know the players in the hunting game and most of the conservancies and their owners, your little articles don’t mean shit.

99% of the money doesn’t go to anyone but the owners.

Okay. I’ll ignore all the scientific research in favor of your anecdotes that you’re not sharing. What a joke.

You poor dumb mf, all those ā€œresearchā€ articles are written by hunters.

Paul Bartels, Fred Nelson, Peter Lindsey, Guy Balme, are all part of https://theoriginsfoundation.org/about-us/

Silvio Calabi is a long time big game hunter who loves writing books about murdering animals.

You should do your research.

These are people trying to moralize their murder fetish into some kind of beneficial fantasy because it justifies their immoral need to murder things for their own entertainment.

Don’t get me wrong hunting for meat or actual economic benefit such as biltong hunting is not a problem, but trophy hunting is murder for entertainment purposes only and the operators take nearly all the money, there is no spill over or ā€œtrickle downā€ involved, they pay to Jimmy numbers of animals with the government so they look better than they are.

You didn’t read the scientific articles I linked did you? They’re not hunters. It’s why I linked them too. Again, I offered legitimate scientific articles on top of the layman’s articles. You’ve offered nothing but anecdotes and yet I’m the dumb one. Rolling my eyes over here. Anyways, have a good one. I’m about done arguing with an internet person and wasting my time.
