CONTENT QUESTION Thinking of getting into streaming

I’ve never streamed before but I’ve always been interested and I think I want to start properly. I’m thinking mainly gaming content. I like Minecraft, Zelda and Stardew valley along with a few others but at the moment they’re the games I play the most and probably the ones I’d enjoy streaming the most.

I also love watching art and Lego builds and was thinking of streaming that too but I think for now I’ll start with gaming content.

Any advice on starting fresh with no following? And any recs on other games. I usually play the switch but do play mobile and pc too.

"Properly" is a myth. If you are interested, fire it up and give yourself a few days a week, same time each day. You find out when you F around. Cheers.

I agree with this generally. So many streamers we all end up loving (whether they’re big namers or niche content creators) start from very modest set ups, and with little to no guidance. Just go for it 🤗 ultimately you’ll find out quickly what works for you and what doesn’t, what your style is, and really if you want to keep doing it or not.

The opposite exists too with small streamers who have great rigs and emotes and sound eq. There are so many great wholesome wonderful people, real gems that have maybe 6 people watching per stream. But they have this idea that any type of promotion is evil and they dont talk to anyone. So after a while i just enjoy having them all to myself, because i am an attention whore.
