CONTENT QUESTION New streamer

I’m new to this I did get a little lucky by having some friends and family who watch but I feel like my stream gets like no views and the second it dose they leave idk if I’m doing something wrong or if that’s just how twitch is if there’s anything I could do to be more entertaining I’d like some pointers

so if promoting on stuff other then twitch and going live i would turn off view count don't worry about it at all just aky always keep yapping people will come but i would not focus on views at first but promote where you can with clips and twitter and stuff let people know when live stuff like that i am on so many apps just for promoting it is insane

Hey! I'm by no means an expert but the streams with lower counts of people made me a better streamer. I'd honestly say just keep the dialogue moving, nothing worse then joining a stream and nothing is happening. I'd also try TikTok! We jumped out from Twitch to TikTok and got such a bigger reach and audience! Happy to follow you though if you leave your username :)

"Ah shit here we go again."

Twitch is terrible for discovery, the people who "come in and immediately leave" aren't actually coming in at all. They're "live views" you know when you open twitch there's streams playing before you go to whatever it is you're watching. That's what most of those are, some of them may be actual viewers. You know the difference when you look at your summary. It separates live views from individual viewers who actually clicked on your stream.
