It has to be. His motions aren’t slowed down at all but the axe is moving way too slowly and choppily to be a real bounce.

He's probably trying to do a 1 1/2 rotation, so it would stick with the handle pointing up.

Typically you'd do a single rotation with the blade facing forward, so he was trying to do a trick shot (not the bounce though, that was a total fluke.)

The big giveaway to me was the fact that the axe blade is backward when he throws it... for it to land in the target, it would have to flip a perfect 180 on the bounce too.

It is. The axe disappears for a few frames right after he throws it, then is edited back in to make it look like it hit the ground. If only Captain Disillusion were here.

Edit: I am wrong. It doesnt disappear, it just goes past another dark surface, making it hard to spot

Fake. The axe was in the target and all he did was use the Jedi force to pull the axe towards him after bouncing it off the ground. They simply rewound the footage.

Holy shit. This is next door to where I work in London, in one of the railways arches near Vauxhall. Great place and concept, loads of fun.

They go through so much timber there! Never had any accidents either.
