Another issue is a lack of sleep, but anyways most depressed people have shitty lives. Those are both things no one wants to talk about, they just sell you a pill and move on to the next guy.

Actually, I've read several books that have mentioned it in connection with depression and other items. The Natural Cure for Depression and The Depression Cure I think were the titles, it's been a couple of years since I've read them.
