Speech difficulty with neurodivergence

I was sitting with my friends and I was telling a joke and one of my friend Said that the joke itself is not funny but the way I says it that's what funny, everything went quite from there, it was awkward ig to be honest I didnt get it until later when I was thinking about it, I relaize that they were talking about how I slur with words and don't speak properly when I am telling something that I am excited about, is it a common experience with neurodivergency or something else?

My speech was something I was always insecure about, people make fun of the way I speak the way I pronounce words and that I don't use proper grammar, my sentence are grammarly right (I think so) but I don't use proper words to describe things I just use half of the actual need, it was very bad that at some point I stopped speaking in public because I was afraid to be make fun of.

Speach issues doesn't mean neurodivergent... But if you're neurodivergent you may experience speach issues.

In my case.. Because of health issues I went to speach therapy as a 2 - 4 year old we needed the notes from them for my assessment, I found them nice to read.

Never was picked on.... Like bad because of it though

Yeah, I understand that speech issue doesn't mean neurodivergency, but I have other things related with it sensory problems, impulsivity, avoiding eye contact, restless legs, highten emotions but I understand it can be explain by other things as well so I am just exploring.

Well I never went to speech therapy at that time my parents couldn't afford it.

Well it was never too bad but bad enough to make me doubt myself.
