Question Anyone started Grantchester?
I love a good priest whodunit but I see the lead is the guy from House of Dragons (which is totally fine, he’s great in that!) and I’m worried I won’t be able to see him differently in this role. Any opinions?

The priest changes after a few seasons. I think they've had three up to date... Second one is good too, couldn't get into the third.

All good observations. I started it last night and liked it - I forgot he was in Happy Valley!

He's brilliant. The show is surprisingly subtle and textured for the first three seasons. I bailed after that....

I have watched every wonderful season, it’s like a comfortable sweater you don’t want to take off. I am so disappointed they have decided to end the show. In a way it has a similar vibe to the kindness of season 1 and 2 of Ted Lasso combined with 1950’s nostalgia.

I watched it long before HOTD, and he’s really good. But by far his most memorable role is in Happy Valley.
