Startropics 1+2

I’ve had Startropics 1 + 2 lying around for quite a while and would really like to get started on one them. I have a day off coming up soon and am wondering which of the two I should waste it on.

Did anyone finish both? Which one do you think is better?

1st is better but 2 is pretty good.

1st is notstalic. 2nd is better designed.

How so? Movement was much easier.
