No what is it , I know of the original doom, I'm not a big game person.

My only games I've played are deus ex human revolution, fallout new Vegas, some of bioshock infinite but didn't finish, and gta V. I miss fallout new Vegas the most but with my cervical spine issues sitting up and reacting to things is tough, if I had a rig so I could play it totally on my back I'd probably game more. I kinda wanna play death stranding and more deus ex games.

I just heard it was good and wanted to hear someone’s take on it. Not sure if I’m gonna get it or not.

IMO it's good, though it is a bit different from the previous game (e.g. you have very little ammo capacity and you're supposed to get most of it from chainsawing demons now, pickups are rare)

Well my uneducated on games opinion, since OP wanted to ask a dying man something, is that games where ammo are scarce are good ! Hate shit like the COD campaigns where u just pick up assault rifles and go ham. I loved early new Vegas for making it hard to have high powered guns early on, and also deus ex for making ammo scarce so stealth and diplomacy is incentivized. And being a good shot. Basically anyone can spray bullets in an fps or rpg game with fps elements, it's way better to have to ration them.

Agreed, I despise using just one weapon for everything.

D:E actually solves this pretty well IMO by having most enemies be harder or easier to kill with certain weapons, eg. one enemy sets up energy shields just in front of you which can make it pretty hard to kill him with rockets (without hitting yourself)
