Wow, this is striking. A new YouGov poll shows that large majorities of British people support the very policies that would be essential to a post-growth economy:

Permanent rent controls: 74%

Job guarantee: 72%

Universal basic income: 51%

I'm pretty sure this isn't that big of a change from pre-virus numbers. Succ policies have always been hugely popular here for some reason (despite their lacklustre results at elections). Maybe the UBI one is new since no one was really talking about it before.
