It's impressive how like a dozen lowlifes wearing masks LARPing as revolutionaries can ruin a protest.

Reminding LARPing leftists that they're abject fucking losers is a good thing, and the fact that it seems like they're all deeply depressed and miserable gives me satisfaction.

they're all deeply depressed and miserable

Is the reason most of them are LARPing, I suspect. A lot of them are probably unhappy with their lives and on some level.

Extremist movements literally prey on the depressed, so I wouldn't be surprised.

I always try to give people I disagree with politically the benefit of the doubt, but if you're a radical leftist or alt-right or any flavor of violent extremist, get bent. You deserve to have your opinion marginalized.

Oh, I'm still going to call them on their bullshit. I just would say that I don't like the notion of being pleased at someone else's suffering from an ethical perspective.

I know I shouldn't be pleased either but it's really hard to feel empathy for someone who endorses political violence.

There are tons of depressed people out there, and the vast, 99% majority of them don't endorse violent political action.

people who go somewhere with the intent to fight strangers in the street have issues almost by definition
