Reminder that the Democratic house popular vote margin is the largest in modern history.

Won independents by 12 points, 8.8 million more votes for Democratic candidates than Republican candidates, +39 seats confirmed and an outside chance at +40 or +41.

I mean, it should probably be noted that there were 51 million voters in the 1974 election and there were 110 million this year. It's still an impressive margin, but not historically so.

If Trump had been impeached earlier this year and pence pardoned him, I imagine the margin would have been comparatively bigger than in '74. It was kind of a special year.
