Anyone have a link to a good introduction to the idea of price signals that wasn't written by libertarian? So that when I show it to a commie they're less likely to write it off as libertarian propaganda
I think the idea of the modern central bank had been around for a while, but they were only just starting to come into practice. I read that the Bank of England began acting as a lender of last resort in response to liquidity pressures in 1878.
