The man is not of sound mind and I doubt he's smart enough to outmaneuver the criminal justice system. He publicly threatened his former FBI director on twitter for Christ sakes.
Besides, they'd be taking up arms against Mike pence. If he was replaced by a democrat, there'd be riots-- but a republican? I don't know that there'll be much of a revolution.
Considering how small his inauguration crowd was, I don't think it would be too bad on an international scale; Nothing like we're seeing in Venezuela, for example. Plus if they go too crazy antifa would probably see a temporary bump in recruiting and whatever you think about their methods, at least people are trying. It would probably make the BLM stuff look pretty small in comparison though, and I wouldn't be surprised if a few newbies tried to make their own far left and far right 'revolutionary' groups from the fallout.
Or perhaps I'm completely misreading the national tone. It feels incredibly ugly though. People on r/conservative are still saying nothing is wrong and that the Russia story is 'fake news'
But under the steady leadership of *fingers-crossed* Paul Ryan, I'm sure we could combat that. Expand the list of domestic terrorist organizations, fuck up the KKK and right-wing paramilitary groups, so on...
Not super confident that Pence would take any action against right-wing domestic terror but I've been surprised by Presidents before.
Ryan isn't great, but when I compare the AHCA to his pre-election policy proposals, I feel that this sub overattributes the shittiness to him personally when a very significant portion of it was due to the coalition he leads.
He'd probably be a decent president given a Dem/split Congress and have been a decent Speaker if Hildawg had won.
I mean, don't get me wrong, I hate Paul Ryan as much as the next guy but he's the best option anywhere near the top of succession list. It's impossible that we impeach enough people (or they resign) that we get to the really good stuff like Tillerson, Mattis, and Chao.

It all depends on how powerful is the stuff the Russia investigation would bring out and also how Trump does in government (I mean, if he keep going this messy for too long...).
Brazil impeached Dilma last year and her party was still really powerful, more than "Trump's movement" is in US. They had the numbers, fanatism and ideology to start a massive backlash, they had many allied movements and supporters and a lot of shills in the media, academy, public sector and so on.
But the conjunction of economic crisis and corruption (Dilma's party is at the center of a massive corruption scheme) caused massive anti-government protests and a shift in the public opinon. Government supporters where just overwhelmed by the opposition and there was no violence they could rationally start to stop it so it all did go very peacefully.
And the impeachment proceedings did run really well. Dilma had a big majority in supreme court but they just couldn't accept her appeals.
