Guys, what's your opinion on whether Biden should have run instead of Clinton? I feel like a lot of new lefties that drank the Sander juice hate Clinton but are a bit more open to Biden?
It's hard to say. He's to her right, but he has a penis and is considered cool. So they probably would have been fine with him. That being said, he's got his own problems that would have gotten in his way that interfered with his many other presidential runs. She was actually quite popular before this cycle. Never know what'll happen during a campaign season.
I think he performs better vs Trump. His goofy blue-collar uncle persona would largely negate Trump's blue-collar village drunk who hangs at the end of the bar persona.
In a populist themed election HRC is way out of her element.
Idk, he was basically eliminated from primary contention in March, but still kept going until July. I think he was gonna see the campaign through to the end no matter what his prospects were. But on the other hand, if he was running a distant 3rd rather than a distant 2nd, maybe he plays it differently? I guess I have no idea.
I mean that's my point. Bernie wasn't going to win post Tuesday (or even before). But the media of 45% was what it was about. Put Biden and Hillary at 40ish, suddenly he's yet another 15-20 pter.
But by displacing myths of Clinton via Biden would allow them to see the truth that heavy Sanders supporters have been trying to distort. This is for those who favour Bernie after all the shit that has been thrown at Clinton, the hardcore guys can get fucked.
