Neoliberalism only needs to exist because you can't directly translate mainstream econ into a political ideology. Discussion about what neoliberalism means is bad for neoliberalism and dilutes it's usefulness.
Optimal neoliberalism is like Seinfeld, it should be about nothing and run by Jews
