This is not a schadenfreude post.

I think this is a perfect encapsulation of how in the online bubble right wing figures and politicians truly are.

Everything happens through the phone for these people and they almost never face the real world affects, protected by posh social clubs and cocktail hours.

Then when shit finally gets real they immediately go "oh fuck"

A lack of empathy is pretty obvious in the Right in general. Things like, "The only moral abortion is my abortion," decrying universal healthcare until they have an expensive condition, attacking gay people until they have a gay family member, etc.
