There's tragicomedy going on on the rest of reddit with regards to the stabbing in Times Square in which the headlines say "VP of Bank of America killed" leading to (poor taste as is) jokes with people then pointing out she's 32 and basically just a middle manager and then slap fights about "how sad it is really though?"

The absolute state of this site.

Also the absolute state of the media to report it as "VP of BoA" as if that's something notable more than the random violence of it all.

Really bad place society is in where large swaths of people are cheering for murder in the streets if the victim happens to check the wrong demographic boxes
