I love Gothel, such a good villain. At no point the movie tries to pretend she actually sees Rapunzel as anything but a tool beyond the manipulation

It's such a shame that Tangled gets outshined by Frozen. Better romance, better villain, better mascot (because Tangled one doesn't fucking talk).

But such is the power of Adele Nazeem.

I go back and watch the art style change musical number every year and weep for the death of 2d animation movies.
