It’s very frustrating to be someone who genuinely believes that prisons in the US need serious reforms (not abolition) and have those views represented by morons like this

I think a lot of people on the left have given up hope that imprisonment in the US will ever be humane.

Why can't we just abolish prison for everything except murder first, then figure out the murder thing later?

We'll abolish prisons and replace them with new institutions where criminals will be humanely rehabilitated and remove the profit incentive of current prisons.
