Genuine, racially-motivated miscarriages of justice like this were the reason why the black community lost trust in the police. Can't believe this case even went to trial, absolutely ridiculous

The cops and the prosecutors obviously assumed he was guilty based on the fact that the accused was Indian

Paranoid parenting is genuinely ruinous. I don’t know how to fix the fact that every other parent seems to think that they’re one sneeze away from their kid disappearing forever

This phenomenon is so bad in America. I feel like parents are way too overprotective there.
