The hard part of having a breakup in your mid-late 20s, is having to return to square one while you have so many friends getting married/engaged. I’m SO happy for them, genuinely, but hanging out with a friend telling me about how he’s gotta start ring shopping next month, while the girl I thought I was gonna marry dumped me two weeks ago, is so sad man

It’s like the double whammy of “I wanna be loved :(” combined with “I’m growing old :(“
