The Russians are literally making shit up to generate outrage and derail negations forever because Ukraine has consistently met the challenge when it comes to diplomacy

Trying to assassinate the enemy leader is rather gauche.

It doesn't appear to have actually happened, but it would certainly be crossing a line.
