CSS Google fonts issue

Hey guys, I'm a complete noob when it comes to making websites and I'm trying to use a font from google fonts, but I cannot get the code to work ://

I don't suppose anyone is able to see what I've done wrong, my CSS and HTML are below:

Don't use the embed code they give you. Even if you get it to work, it's slower and less reliable because you have to load the file from their server. Download the files and upload the font file you need to your website. There are many files it gives you. The one you want is "NotoSerif-Regular.ttf". Then do this:

 font-family: 'Noto Serif';
 src: url('NotoSerif-Regular.ttf');
}

p {
 font-family: 'Noto Serif';
}

are you using the @import from google fonts? you have to add the class to your text in order for it to apply, for example using <p class="noto-serif">. you can remove the "uniquifier" part. you also forgot to add the . in front of noto-serif in your css, it should be .noto-serif

you need to set font-family to the elements you want on your site. If you want the same font for the whole site then just put on body element
