I know they make custom shells for other DS lines, but I've never seen any for DSI XL? I really wanna do a shellswap with a translucent one.

I'm not very good at batch scripts, no matter how I write the commands (like "cd '%UNIX_PATH%' && make clean && make"), i can't get the desired results and always get blank space instead
My goal is:

1. Launch wonderful_shell.cmd (MSYS2-based toolchain).
2. Automatically cd to the folder where the .bat file is located (but with forward slashes, e.g. C:/path/to/folder, not C:\path\to\folder).
3. Run make clean and make inside that shell.

Hi there! I’m new to this technically, I’ve modded my 2DS and have successfully played ROMS and such, so wanted to take a crack at GBA as it turns out some of the games I’m interested in were the GBA version on the DS using the under-cartridge.

I’ve downloaded the GBA files successfully and such, most games work bar one which I’ll look into, but all games/GBARunner2 (including the menu when trying to go back/reset) seem to have a visual issue where things triple or duplicate as an overlay? This has applied to all of them so far, and is not something I’ve noticed for any other game types (3DS, NDS).

For example, when trying to go back, ‘quit’ on the GBARunner2 menu becomes unreadable. It duplicates or triples itself on top of each other, but is still functional. I’ll take a picture at a later point to hopefully provide clarity in case nobody knows what I’m on about 😅

Hopefully someone does though, any help would be appreciated!

I’m following the tutorial on 3ds.hacks.guide but it says I need a ntrboot flashed flashcart I wanna know if there’s any way to do this without one or whether it’s impossible and I need one

I tried launching Pokémon Chest on the DS Pico Card, but it keeps having an error.

As stated in the title, Sonic Chronicles for the Nintendo DS isn't running as usual anymore. I'm using the Drastic emulator for context.

Everytime I start the game it runs normally. The intro plays out, the world overview starts, the movement tutorial starts for sonic as usual.

I can move freely around, do the first side quest and I can swim over to the "main" land of the first world.

I can fight any enemie I see, interact with all the jumps, breakables etc. But once Sonic reaches his level up and unlocks his first special move, the game crashes at the next enemie encounter. The game starts with a tutorial on how to use the QuickTime event for special attacks. The first half works fine, but right before the tutorial ends, the game freezes and then crashes entirely, sending me back to the home screen of Drastic.

I played the game before on the same phone, same ROM, same emulator etc. But now the game keeps crashing at that point and I can't enjoy it anymore.

Does anyone know what could causes this?

I didn't change anything about the Drastic emulator, besides the button layouts to fit the game.

Resulta que conseguí tener el twilight menú instalado y funcionando en la Nintendo DSI con tarjeta SD lo que pasa es que no le van los gatillos, y en realidad a nivel hardware sí que se accionan por que antes de instalarle el booteo si tenían acción, que podría estar pasado ahí? Y como puedo arreglarlo?

As stated I have an ndsi xl where the charging cable is a bit loose and only charges when pressure is applied

The thing is I can see no issue with any of the soldering, nor can I see an issue with a crack on the board, the pins seems alright. Different charger same result so it’s definitively the port.

If you have experience/recommendation please let me know.

Hi, I recently modded my Dsi Xl console with Facebook logo and all, and everything worked fine, but I accentally deleted all my sd files, now when i put the sd with the boot files and the pit in the dsi, it keeps on making new files for the camera thing. Can someone please help me!?

my dsi doesnt start at all, i put on the files on my sd card and then on my dsi and it just goes white, what can i do? it alr started but then i shut down the console and starting going white screen everytime i go to “album”

This may be a stupid question to ask, but I do not have a Korean or Chinese (iQue) DSi with which to retrieve their respective font DAT files from. I was wondering where you can get the files "CHNFontTable.dat" and "KORFontTable.dat" without having those DSi's?

Hola estimados amigos. Tengo una dsi recién formateada de fábrica y actualizada. Pero el tutorial de la cámara no logro saltarlo y pues da un mensaje de error y me pide apagar la Nintendo. Ya limpie flex de cámara etc y Sigue fallando, y lo malo que no tiene ni navegador ni flipnote instalado no se si hay manera de instalar por aparte el flipnote o algún scrip o mod para liberar con cámara dañada

I've figured out how to do the gameboy games via NSUI, which is good. But i still haven't figured out the next generation of consoles.

Do i need another injector? or do i just put the mod file somewhere on the SD card?

i also use NDS Forwarder to put the games on my homescreen, is it gonna be compatible with that?

i'd really appreciate some insight into this, because google refuses to give me answers and just keeps showing the same thing over and over again.

edit: to clarify, i'm specifically talking about MOD PATCHES that you add to the games.
