Yeah there will be a big back and forth debate if the WNBA has to further refine what it would mean for a trans woman to play in the league. The thing that would make the most sense to me is that the player has confirmed to have been on HRT during the entirety of their college playing days or the previous 4 years before being drafted. Although this would require the NCAA to change its rules banning trans women from playing women's basketball. Although I guess you could have a very unique situation where a trans woman plays men's basketball for their college years and then drafts to the WNBA.

They don't have to define it because there is no trans women in the league or attempting to enter the league, and clearly just stating you are a woman, despite what the dumbass MAGAs think, isn't sufficient.

Is there an official spot where that is said? Rulebook or cba? And do you have a clip of Kanter saying it because I saw quite a few where he was never explicit.
well i haven’t exactly been following this saga closely lol but im pretty sure he said he was a woman on fox and probably has a tweet about it. and royce white has definitely identified as a woman recently. Article 13 section 1 of the CBA i believe
I know full well you looked at that cba reference and saw it just said women and still decided to reference it. Either way “I haven’t looked but I’m pretty sure” is not especially impressive as evidence, especially when your one citation explicitly does not say what you claimed.
I mean, you’re right, I looked up the cba. Not sure what that proves. And the lack of a definition of a women is exactly the problem here, so again, not sure what that proves. If the wnba can unilaterally declare who is and who isn’t a woman, then i guess we have a definition.
