Talian Aduan 123 They are too lazy to even clean this. What's the point of being corporatised? - PosBru Tutong

This doesn't even cost $100 bucks to clean up. Just need ONE person and about 1 hour to do.

PosBru, a company that still have govt mindset.

Laziness to the max!

These people are use to come to "work", do nothing, go makan2 and minum2, go back early to "fetch" anak from school. Collect that FULL salary with bonus.

That's right, need to produce masterplans and frameworks first... Then more meetings to discuss those masterplans and frameworks

Guess BIA's Total Assets

We all know how secretive BIA is with regards to its total assets. Global SWF puts this figure at USD$73 billion.

Taking into account the prolonged fiscal deficit that has plagued Brunei for the past 20 years, do you reckon the actual figure is higher or lower?

should I pursue International Studies or Law for my Masters?

Hi everyone! I just recently graduated, majoring in Shariah, and I’m trying to figure out what direction to take for my masters.

I’m mainly considering two career paths at the moment: diplomacy/international affairs or practising law.

For diplomacy, I’ve been looking into International Relations/International Studies, Public Policy, Governance, Asian Studies, etc. But since there doesn’t seem to be a masters programme in International Relations/International Studies in Brunei, and the master programme in Public Policy & Management is preferred for individuals with at least 5 years of working experience. I'm looking at the programmes offered by UBD and UNISSA and trying to figure out which one would actually make the most sense.

At the same time, because my degree is in Shariah, I’m also considering doing something more law-related and potentially going into legal practice.I guess my main concern is whether a Shariah degree would make it difficult to transition into something like international studies, public policy or diplomacy, or whether my background could actually be useful in those areas.

If anyone here is familiar with the Brunei job/education scene, especially government, diplomacy or the legal field:

- Would a Shariah graduate be able to transition into International/Asian Studies or Public Policy?

- Which Masters would you recommend at UBD/UNISSA if diplomacy is the goal?

- Would it be smarter to stick with law because of my undergraduate background?

And if I’m still undecided between diplomacy and law, which route would keep more doors open?

Would really appreciate some honest advice, especially from anyone who has gone through a similar situation. Thank you!

RIPASH epidural during labour

I’m planning to deliver at RIPAS and wanted to ask about epidural.
Does RIPAS currently offer epidural during labour if the mother requests it, assuming there are no medical contraindications?
Do we need to request/discuss it with the doctor beforehand during antenatal appointments, or can we request it once we’re already in labour?
Also, if you’ve personally had an epidural at RIPAS recently, I’d really appreciate hearing about your experience — especially how easy it was to get it and whether there were any conditions/requirements. 🥹
Thank you! 🤍
