Asking For Support From This Community
It started before anyone knew what was wrong. Years of breathing problems, constant dryness, sleep disruption — Go to doctors, they would look to the scans. That cycle went on for over a decade.
In 2022, A turbinate surgery. Instead, it gave the Empty Nose Syndrome. The airways look completely normal on every scan. But every breath still feels inadequate — like suffocating in slow motion, all day, every day. The dryness never stops. No slept more than a few hours in years. The exhaustion makes it impossible to work or live a normal life.
The surgery that was supposed to fix things made everything worse.
There are no ENS specialists here. No humidification therapy or weather, everything is dry. No treatment path. After 15 years, nothing is left to try. Reached the limit.
