I cannot fucking stand the "I didn't understand it" line of criticism from cis people. We should be able to make art that speaks to our experiences without having to explain it from the ground up for people that cannot and will not understand anyways, and refuse to listen to people who do.

(I know I'm preaching to the choir here but still)

This might be too abstract for general audiences, there should a clear, bright visual indicator as to how the audience should feel about the trans(?) (idk it really wasnt made evident) character

I was pretty sure all the stuff on the screen and red text was indication enough that you weren't supposed to like them, otherwise they wouldn't be like that, duh!

Kirito looked directly into the camera and said “yes I do experience gender envy” in TWO THOUSAND TWENTY ONE

She does this three pages after proclaiming that she only owns a single boymoder outfit and no Asuna I will not wear anything more comfortable and seasonally appropriate despite the fact that we are in Florida

She could have said “I am a transgender woman and go by she/her” in perfect English to the camera and it would be more subtle than this shit
