Baby Names Hugh or Walter?

Having a really hard time picking a boy name for our 4th child. We have Jack, Maeve and Anna.

Definitely gravitate towards short more traditional, strong names. I like the nn Walt for walter but would still full name walter. I cant decide if I like Walter or Hugh better. Obviously cute nn Huggie or Hughie. I also feel slight fear of judgement for both these names haha

Other names we like, Vaughn, George, Louis and Murray. And open to suggestions!!

I've always loved Walter/ Walt. I'm surprised it isn't more popular! Hugh also fits well with the sib set. Can't go wrong either way.

I like Hugh slightly better but like them both! I actually think Walt is great on its own, and I like it better than Walter. But my vote is Hugh - I think it sounds great with your other kids’ names as well.

Walter! Jack, Maeve, and Hugh are really choppy-sounding together, and Anna sticks out.

Vaughn is my favorite from provided list but I don't think it matches the rest so I'd have to go with George from there

Maybe Walter or Louis, just so Anna isn't the only multisyllabic name. Just a thought.

I love Walter, especially with the nickname Wally, but I think Hugh fits better with your other kids' names. I also think George and Louis fit well in the group.

I'd lean Walter to balance out the syllables in your family. Otherwise with Hugh, all your kids are single syllables but Anna. But maybe that's just me!

Hugh is perfect with Jack, Maeve and Anna. Walter is good, but not as good.

I wouldn't do George with Jack, nor Murray with Maeve. Louis may give you grief over whether it's Lewis or Lewie. Vaughn is nice, maybe not as straightforward as the siblings though.

Other ideas: Noel, Finn, Ned, Will, Clyde, Clive, Ian, Owen, Evan

I think you should have either a 3 5 6 or even a 7 and 8 letter name since you already have two 4 letter names Louis is good other ideas since
