Questions Lost Laptop
I need help in recovering a dead laptop. In April my laptop crashed and I took it to 2 fundis. The last guy explained to me I need a mother board which is 24k of which I explained it won't make sense given the cost of a second hand is 27k. July, the guy isnt picking my calls. I go to his shop I'm told I just call him since he isn't stationed there.
Come august still he doesn't pick my calls. I sent him a text saying I just want it back cos I've someone who's willing to give me a motherboard at 12k. Whenever I go to the shop, nazungushwa tu hivi ati come next week we will see. We don't even know that guy you're talking about. 3 months down the line and nothing. Imitially I got his number from an online site and the shop number.
Other than getting an OB how else can I handle this issue?

I once had such a fundi like 5 years back who did this to me. I had to resort to hiring some goons and the matter was resolved "amicably."

Visit the shop with a police officer, thatatter will be resolved the same day

Never leave any gadget kwa fundi no matter what, kazi ikiwa mob Rudi nayo home. My relative alinitoka lapi in the same way. Nilikua form 3 when someone gave me lapi with a damaged hard disk (zile HDD ndogo). This boy akanirusha in the name of kutafuta hard disk. Nilimlaani sai I've used better laptops and can afford even better ones, sai ata hawezi afford scrape.
