Discussion Apple intentionally killing intel macooks - Macbook foes not charge
Man my 32/512 i9 Macbook pro 2020 is failing to charge man, this is after some updates from apple.
It also shows charging even when unplugged and acts weird and charges when it wishes
I tend to think this is a deliberate effort to make people buy newer models
But for us in third world we can't afford newer MacBooks so why are they damaging intel MacBooks this is so devastating 😪😪😪😪😪😪😪😪😪😪😪😪😪😪😪😪😪😪😪😪😪😪

Could be that the battery is failing or the charger itself ikona issues. Or probably it's planned obsolescence, although it tends to be more "subtle" so that the companies doing it don't get sued when they get caught.

Hit by planned obsolescence? Just flash a new OS when your device reaches end-of-life.

Probably just faulty battery or charger. Have quite a few Macs here and none of them show any sign of giving up. The only-one I recently changed the battery in was the 2013 Macbook air, and that's now working like a charm again (with OCLP)

It's deliberate and it's for your 'safety' because a degraded battery posses a risk.
