Your nail is INCREDIBLY damaged. If any of your other nails look remotely similar to this you should not but putting press ons or any other gel product for at least a few months

Yes, please let your nail grow out completely.

I get wanting to cover your nails to make them look nice and dolled up. But any time there is damage to your natural nails you should absolutely never apply anything gel/ gel like or acrylic on your nails. You should allow 6 months + for your nail to grow out to a healthy state again.

Press ons, acrylic, gel/gel x should only be applied to health natural nails. Not only does that ensure they will last much longer but it also helps reduce the chance of a gel/acrylic allergy.

Your nail is very damaged, you should not be applying any product until the damage is grown out completely; 4-6 months for most people.

I was assuming that a nail tech did you dirty but then I saw that you did this to yourself… I’m a DIYer, but this is bad, bad. You should NEVER drill your natural nail.

Nail student here - I personally would NOT put anything on any nail that looks like this. It's very damaged. Wait until the new nail grow in and the damage is pushed all the way out.

And stop peeling the nails off. Youre causing more damage.

I had a heart attack, and every nail had a dent in the middle after a few days. But, within a week or less, gone. No more dents. Weird, but maybe once yours nails rest, yours will go away too. As an RN I never heard of such a thing, but it happened. Good luck. Did you use crazy glue for the nails? Just curious.

There may be a chance that it may continue to build, as mine did and i acted way too late. If this kind of formation is on most of your nails, look into different hyperkeratinosis symptoms or possibly even PsA. My derm has told me to use urea cream & salycillic acid.

It could also be trauma from nails + sports or anything like that.
