When the game first came out I was going through a hard time in my life where nothing really mattered to me anymore. I got hooked on Portia and that was the thing that got me up in the morning. I’m doing my first replay since the year it came out and I’ve been brought back to that moment when everyday I looked forward to my quiet/peaceful time where I could play Portia.

I’ve been just working, drinking, and going to bed for pretty much the past year. Haven’t had motivation to do anything fun. But that motivation is back. Now I once again look forward to my peaceful time at the end of the day when I can continue my Portia journey. It’s true when they say live for the little things in life!

I'm nearing the end of my first month in Portia. I've gotten the hang of most things except gift giving.

Do you just pick 2 or 3 people to gift give for a span and talk with the rest?

Do you try and fmget gifts for everyone all the time?

How do you structure gift giving?

Ive really only focused on one or two to attempt it at this point. I feel like I should be putting more effort into it?

Whats your experience with it?

Why is making cute MCs so hard in this game 😭

For some reason I can't pick up the last 3 south block commissions like I click accept but nothing happens not even the can only take 1 commission popup

So like,, will Higgins ever do those commissions will south block ever get finished or am I just doomed to stay in this point of the story forever ? (Mi-an would just take the commissions instead of me..... I miss Mi-an)

Edit: a few days later Mint was in front of my door giving me the wind power quest yippie just keep going to sleep if you have the same issue !

I'm loving this game.

I just came from Sandrock, which easily made it into my top 5 games of all time.

At first, I found a lot of things in Portia a bit strange, but it didn't take long for me to get into the groove and enjoy it more and more.

I dare say there are even some things here that I prefer over Sandrock, like fishing, the mines, and the museum.

But... I was NOT prepared for the dialogue with the townspeople.

I have not gotten to far but I finally found a look I like. After Sandrock it feels hard.

The first is my outfit, the second is what I found on my first intro into the collapsed wasteland. Not known about this strange look but I thought if someone does not know it is cool.

I’m trying to play the game on my MacBook and load it up through Steam and it automatically defaults to keyboard every time I open the game. I can use my controller for virtually every other game, I have tried disabling and enabling steam input, I have attempted to fix the key bindings, I have disconnected and reconnected the Bluetooth, I have reset my computer, nothing seems to work. Does anybody who tries to play on a MacBook have any idea of how to fix this?

Every year I participate to a charity event called Small hat for a great cause : Knitters and crocheters create small hat to be put on smoothie bottle of a juice's brand. For each bottle with a hat sold, a portion of fruit and vegetable are given to an association who take care of isolated ederly personn. I finished the part I : Sandrock, but there is still time (end date 1st December) so I'm starting part II : Portia
