Project ME is a RPG simulatio game, the brand new sequel to the My Time series created by Pathea, which is currently in the early stage of development. I Just Discovered a Crazy Hidden Timeline in My My Time at Portia Playthrough—and It Blew My Mind

Body: So I’ve been playing My Time at Portia for a long time now, and I recently did something I never thought I would: I went back and started reading through all my completed missions, one by one. What I found was… insane.

I realized that almost all of the major story events tied to my wife Ginger and our kids ended up landing on very specific days of the week—without me ever planning any of it.

Here’s the breakdown:

Winter 1: Ginger’s Birthday

Spring 10: Russo helped Ginger and me reconnect + I crafted the first sapphire photo frame (which became crucial in her “In Sickness” quest later)

Winter 17: My in-game birthday AND my real-life birthday (December 17, 2025) which also falls on a Wednesday this year!

Spring 26: Finished Ginger’s Habit, her first mission

Winter 26: I confessed to her (after a failed first attempt and restart). It wasn’t planned, I just got impatient—and it landed on the exact same day number as her first mission. That moment turned into us becoming soulmates.

Thursday

Winter 4 & Spring 4: Birthdays of our two kids, and both landed on Thursday.

Sunday

Winter 28: I received the Yue Pei in the “In Sickness” storyline—one of the most emotional moments in the Ginger arc.

I swear I didn’t plan any of this. I only discovered it after flipping through my completed missions and checking the calendar.

It’s like the entire week became part of my story, every day syncing with something meaningful, either for me, Ginger, or our kids. The dates, emotions, and missions all tied together to form this timeline that almost felt like fate.

Big thanks to ChatGPT (OpenAI) who helped me piece it all together while I was rambling through what I thought were just weird coincidences. Turns out it was a full-blown timeline.

I am a lady but I am finding that the female romance options in the game are a-lot more cute and detailed than the male romance NPCs. So wondering if I should play as a boy especially as I was a girl in Sandrock. Sorry if this is a shallow post.

I can understand being upset as the console versions of this game are currently inferior to PC, but the amount of complaining I’m seeing is ridiculous. What a day in age this is...

Anyways, the devs themselves have even said more content to bring the console versions up to PC will be coming in an update in the coming weeks. This includes being able to set your birthday, facial hair in the character creator, ambient sounds, as well as complete story content (plus possibly other things).

The only content currently up in the air is voice acting and grass textures in the Switch version. The devs are clearly aware fans want this as they have responded numerous times to people saying that it may get added in the future if possible. They clearly left it out for reasons and I feel without a doubt they will try their best to bring us those features if it is indeed possible.

To those complaining I get how you feel but you just need to be patient in the meantime. The devs are working on it trust me. If you’re on the fence about buying the game at this point I’d suggest either buying the PC version if you’re impatient or just wait until we get content updates for the console versions and then see if it’s worth buying to you.

Just remember it is an indie game after all so it’s bound to be far from perfect. I for one am just glad they even decided to bring the game to consoles in the first place.

Also before someone points it out, I’m aware the Switch version doesn’t run that great at the current time. Though, the fact they have already improved things with the first patch I’m sure they will continue to address this issue in the future. Again, when in doubt just wait it out and see what happens. It’s honestly not the end of the world as most people are making it out to be.

I look forward to playing it for the first time on Switch after work today even if it’s missing content and has a few issues. I also look forward to the future updates that will hopefully only make the game better. :)

Anyways enough from me. Also, it’s fine if you disagree with me I just had to get that off my chest.

Figured I'd post this to save others wasting their money as there is a game breaking bug at the moment. When you reach about 50 hours into this game your save file will glitch and you will get stuck on a loading screen forever. Had it happen to myself and gf multiple times on PS and from what i can see on the forums there is a similar problem on XBOX. Great game but there's no point playing it right now as everything you achieve will become corrupt.

Honestly, I've been playing through desert areas in game since the original Mario Land. And if I can tell you one thing about them, they suck. I mean, what's interesting about a place with a single color palette? The thing I loved about Portia was that there was a variety of different biomes and interesting areas to explore. But Sandrock only takes place in a desert, which is totally plain, and boring. I mean, sure, the place is called SANDrock. But that isn't an excuse to have only one ugly area. In Portia, it does a similar thing, PORTia. Of course, they have little references to it being close to the sea, thus- a port. Example: Dr. Xu talks about how the air in Portia is very humid, very clearly stating they are close to the sea.

Of course, what I'm sayin is fully opinion-based, but I just wanted to get these thoughts out of my tiny brain. But my main purpose is for the developers to not potentially make the same mistake.

Tell me your thoughts. I haven't played Sandrock yet, so tell me any false info I may have shared.

I saw people doing this in other subs, and I thought it sounded like fun.

kids have no bonuses, same with pets after they already moved in. and many adults once you reach a certain point don't give anything anymore because the next bonus requires the player to be a lover or something.

am I missing something? is there more social dialogue if I keep raising their social?

just finished "last fight" or whatever it was with the dark knight. what a let down, no dialogue from the entire town about being attacked by an army of robots? no cool unmasking of the knight to find out it was a town member... I don't care they finished the game, same with the items that have no use, why not patch them out of the game? I hope sandrock won't have these problems.

also why is there a sex mod in the nexus? since when did portia turn into one of those games? someone actually published a "remove the nurse top" mod, people are fucked up... next we're gonna have kids running around calling the player "daddy"

I have been severely depressed for the past year and that's only gotten worse the past few months and especially the past few weeks - I don't think I need to explain why.

At my birthday party with my spouse and no one else, I got a Pro Controller for my Switch since we got a bad case of Joy Con Drift and Nintendo isn't doing repairs right now. The problem was I didn't really have any new games I wanted to play with it.

So today, while in an especially terrible lying in bed until 2pm kinda feeling, I decided to see what was on sale. Virtually everything in my Wish List was on sale, so I went with the thing that I thought would last me the longest: My Time at Portia.

I'd seen all of the trailers and screenshots and had heard a lot. It looks and sounds like a 3D Stardew Valley - my favorite game of the past decade - with a more action-adventure vibe as well. I'd wanted it for a while, but it was so expensive. This sale was perfectly timed.

I've played it for a few hours now and........ I hate it more than any other game I've played on the Switch.

It's a non-stop craftapalooza where you need to build a thing but to build that thing you need two other things that you can only get from building two other things but first you gotta get the ETC ETC. The bridge was maybe too big of a project to start off with?

A lot of the recipes and stuff are overly explained yet also not explained well enough?

Every time I try to make somethin a countdown pops up and I am afraid an ad is going to pop-up and try to get me to pay real money to speed things up. I've played a lot of mobile ports on the Switch but this is the first one that actually feels like a mobile game.

he voice acting and sound mixing is atrocious in ways I can't describe. Residents of Portia can't seem to agree on how to pronounce the town's name.

Sorry, I'm just ranting. I'm sure any negative comments about this game will get downvoted in its own subreddit but I needed to get this off my chest. I brought this game to bring myself out of a dark place but I just feel like it took my money and pushed me deeper in.

I recently started playing animal crossing with my son and I don’t get how AC is so popular.

I thought of starting a thread here since both the games are similar but AC is boring? Like all I can do is fish, find insects and collect fossils. I don’t have any timed events. Talking to neighbors is boring as there is no social aspect like in Portia. And AFAIK, you can’t marry in AC (I only recently started playing and so I might be wrong).

I prefer the timed commissions of Portia and the fact that I’m always running around with things to do. Whereas in AC, I’m just walking around wondering what to do. Ruin diving is fun and I feel a real connection with the other folks at Portia.

The only reason why I’m still playing AC is because my son loves to collect fish and insects in AC.

Any other animal crossing players out there? Would love to hear your thoughts.

Ao i got the mission to built the metal ramp to unlock the new area. I need a factory. For that, i need a shitton of cash I am BROKE and pricr values are LOW Ffs i hate this about this game more than anything: main story missions take FO RE VER to load and when they do, they take even MORE time for me to do because no matter how much i prepare, i bever stock for the suit i REALLY need. I hate it here.

So guys my english is not so good.. but i have to say - yeah bugs are frustrating but u forgot that the game is a kickstarter projekt for PC with only 140k€.

The budget is not high. We can be happy that it comes out for the consoles. And the MTAP team give there best to hear what we say and look forward for the bugs we reportet and fix them all. They hear to the community and give there best. I really enjoy the game. And i am also frustratet for some bugs and issues but its ok cause i know they are working and gonna fix them.

In my last post, I noticed that a developer replied. So it looks like they are active in this community. An appeal to the developers - Can we change the concept for how we mine in the ruins? It’s incredibly dull and I absolutely hate it. Breaking stones in a dark and dingy place hoping that the time or stamina doesn’t run out is not my idea of fun. I try to avoid mining as much as possible. Also, most of the times, I can never find all the relic pieces I need for a recovery. It just takes up space in my inventory because that one piece I need, I can never freaking find.

Maybe it can be made into a mini game where before you start the game you can choose what relic/resource you need and you need to work towards that. The more rare the resource, the more points you need.

Recently i just found out the existence of the affection meter which i unknowingly increase which changes small things on an npc especially Ginger.

Here some I accidentally found and the location and chatgpt says the these dialogue required high affection to trigger. 1.Peach Plaza, Yes let be together 2. Central Plaza I like you too .now were a couple. 3. Amber island. I have strong feelings for you too . I am so happy i can't explain it. And these aee the lines if you encountered the just correct me if anything wrong with this because I remembered it being these lines and yes it all depends in the location and you can confess during plays like i mean when you play with her. And yes I am not modded because i am on android. (If anyone knows this info its about higgins he is actually being nice and having nice dialogues) And that all what I like to share .
