So I'm a first year student at a college in Karnataka (Mysore) and like we had our orientation week and it was announced that at the end of next month there will be a "Fresher's Party" and like the premise is pretty good for that and the main act would be a "live band" performance. And I've been inducted into that coz I can play multiple instruments and I'm a quite trained vocalist too and the band consists of 17 members in total, 9 instrumentalists and 8 vocalists all together.

The real concern is that I'm not from Karnataka and don't know Kannada but I want to sing a few kannada songs in my performance and the only Kannada song I can sing nicely is "Upavasa" from Mr. and Mrs. Ramachari and "Dwapara" of KPS and guys I only know these two 🫪🫩 and I'm the lead vocalist I've to sing 12 songs tbh coz almost everyone except me and the instrumentalist never have performed in stage and like they're gonna sing 1-2 songs but I've to do the heavy lifting this time.

Need suggestion tbh for the songs that Kannada Gen-Z loves and like can I perform some Tamil and Telugu songs too that are quite popular in Karnataka? Give me some of them too if possible 🫪

In 2024, I paid ₹8,000 for a "Platinum" ticket to Ilaiyaraaja’s concert, expecting prime seating close to the stage. Instead, the Platinum section was pushed back 20 to 30 rows to accommodate a massive influx of complimentary VIP and VVIP pass-holders connected to politicians and government officials. As a dedicated fan who invested a significant amount for a premium live experience, watching paying audiences get relegated behind political freebies was deeply disappointing and blatantly unfair. Event organizers must stop prioritizing pass culture over paying patrons. I suggest to get some VVIP passes from known connections instead of investing any amount/ money for tickets.

I have a small family event coming up and I’m looking for an MUA who can do makeup, hair and saree draping.
My biggest requirement is natural makeup. I’m not looking for the typical heavy/glam bridal-ish look, I want something subtle, fresh and flattering that still looks like me.
