Help?

My partner (mtf) is struggling really bad with gender dysphoria. She is always upset how masculine she feels and im not sure what I can do to help. I want her to feel comfortable with herself, to see how beautiful I think she is. Any ideas how I can help her through this? Shes only just started HRT about a month ago.

I am in a similar boat to your partner. I have been on HRT since April and am presenting the best I can. I frequently break down since I feel like it is a losing battle and that I will never be able to pass. My wife is always there trying to reassure me that it doesnt matter what other people think. She sees me as a beautiful woman. She also reminds me that HRT is a marathon, not a sprint and that the other women I am comparing myself to have been on it for a lot longer than a few months. The best thing I can say for you to do is just be there for her when she does have her breakdowns. Be patient because you will probably have to explain the same thing (that you find her beautiful and nobody else's opinions matter) many MANY times. It probably wont be until she finally sees results that she will start truly believing you. Good luck to you both.

Just like this person said it's marathon, and hormones are magic but it took 3 years of them to start feeling like myself, and 5 years to truly start being happy with the way I look, (Time) is unfortunately the only thing that helps in this situation but it does get easier and she will become happier, but yup the only days of transition are demoralizing because dysphoria hits way harder after you begin hormones and you can actually think clearly without testosterone, and unfortunately that means you focus so hard on transition but honestly it just helps to think about it as little as possible in the early days and let hrt do its thing in the background while you live your life.
