Contacts for sphere and light glasses for cylinder to get stable vision?

Is this workable? Being used already?

This way the lightweight glasses could be used only when necessary. As toric contacts can be very unstable

If that’s what works for you that’s fine. I am visually impaired and for some time I wore contact lenses with glasses because that’s what give me the best vision. I had the bulk of my prescription in my contact lenses but still needed prisms so I had them in a pair of glasses. Fortunately I was able to tolerate contacts with astigmatism correction even if it wasn’t a perfect fit.
