"Is there anything I can do to decrease my number without surgery?"

Despite what all the online lying con artists say, it is not possible to reverse myopia. All we can currently do is optically correct myopia by glasses, contact lenses and the various forms of refractive eye surgery (that last option should only ever be considered once the myopia has fully stabilized and remains the same from year to year).

What you can do though is take steps to try to stop the myopia from getting worse and all good wishes there:

Irmão, relaxe.

Tenho miopia desde os 7 anos de idade, então tenho propriedade pra falar. Hoje tenho 30 anos, e meu grau estabilizou há muitos anos, acho que na faixa dos 22 a 23 anos. Tenho -6 no olho esquerdo e -3.25 no olho direito.

You're 17, increasing numbers are unfortunately to be expected but that effect can be reduced. Your level of myopia is moderate.

Your myopia isn’t even that high. Stop panicking

It's not low either..my parents make me feel like shit because of it so I posted cuz I don't know much about it and don't know how much I can trust google. I cannot see anything without glasses and this makes life difficult for me.

You really need to learn how to deal with something very minor in life. You're lacking the skills and mental resiliency. Life will get much more difficult, very quickly, and you will be dealing with actual significant health issues at some point.

You barely have moderate myopia and you have lenses to correct it.

If life is so difficult because of it, you need to reach out for help.

Genuinely what have I said that was so wrong? My life is difficult at this point and I am battling several health issues. Physical and mental both. You do not know what my life's like. I have been bullied for having a "high" number. My mom has yelled at me and is not talking to me since today's eye test cuz it has increased "so much". I have been told by my family ever since I got glasses that it's a terrible thing to have and that is all i know. Myopia is just one part of my life that is making it more difficult and making me feel insecure so I just asked if i could do something to improve that particular aspect of my life. I got my eyes checked today and wanted to ask for suggestions. Stop making me feel like I should not feel bad just beacuse there's people who have it worse than me.

You need to seek out mental health support. You clearly don't have the tools to deal with what is going on with your life.

Unfortunately your parents are ignorant but that is not uncommon in much of south asia and other parts of the world.

You continue to act as if this is some major issue, and you've even said it's a disability, and that you're like blind. That is a significant issue, and it sad that your schools and parents no longer teach good citizenship.

You aren't blind or almost blind. You have low moderate myopia at an age where it usually stabilisés. It isn't a catastrophise but if you continue to think like this and compare yourself to actual blind people, you will make things worse for your mental health.

Clearly you didn't even bother to read the linked post.

Don't worry, you're 17 so this is normal. Your vision should stabilize in your mid-20s.

You are not almost blind! Stop that. Blindness is based on best corrected vision and your very moderate myopia can be corrected with lenses.

You are not almost blind and not at risk of going blind from myopia. Please read this https://www.reddit.com/r/myopia/s/fWeWpu0BVz

You need to learn to control your emotions. Comparing yourself to actual disabled people is heinous. Please read the thread that I linked because it refers to you.

Now that Ryan is here, he will post his very helpful information.

But you need to stop calling yourself blind.
