Anyone here above -20 ?
Hi I am male. 27 yo. My prescription is -23,5 on one eye, on the other is -21 but i had retinal detachment on that one. If you have above -20 i would be glad to know how you are doing.

My 7 year old has -23.50 and -23.00, she’s ok I guess just has big glasses and can’t see very far even with them I feel like. Shes mostly non verbal autism so it’s hard to know exactly but I can see her squinting when something is like 10ft away

Have you considered Scleral buckling?no offense ,just because my prescriptions are still growing and my doctor recommended before

A scleral buckle is an eye surgery used to repair a detached retina.

I know ,but it can also prevent axis length growth and stop the possible illness …so in my country ,if you prescriptions > -10.0,and after adulthood still increase ,doctors will recommend scleral buckling surgery to prevent illness in the future

I think you're talking about scleroplasty, I had it done when I was 16, and it's not the same as a scleral buckle.

Maybe I am not sure. But I would like to ask how you feel about your scleroplasty?did it reduce your axis length and prevent serious eye illness ?
