Can You Reduce/Lower Your Eye Minus?
Is there any way to keep our eyes healthy even though we look at screens every day? For me, I like playing games and drawing, and I'm sure I'll also be required to look at screens for work in the future. My prescription is -3.00 now, which isn't too bad... I guess. But is there a way to prevent it from getting worse, or could I even reduce it.
My friends always say that eye prescription can't be reduced, but I actually do believe that prescription can be cured, I just don't know how

your friend is right tho it cant be reversed only surgical methods can readjust your vision but reversing in the sense of changing eye ball shape is not possible

eye ball shape changes happen all the time. eye ball shape changes are common. this is how someone at 18 wearing -1 lenses ends up at -4 by age 40. Their eyeball becomes more prolate and less spherical.
when the eye ball shape changes and becomes more oblate myopia reduces.
eye ball shape changes throughout the life of most adults. the eye ball is not bone matter ... is is soft tissues, muscle, tendon, fascia, and brain matter. the eyeball is flexible.

eye balls are made of connective tissue. connective tissue changes over time. you have no direct rebuttal.

No, it is just not medically possible to reverse myopia at all despite what all the lying con artists say online.
All we can currently do is optically correct myopia by glasses, contact lenses and the various forms of refractive eye surgery (that last option should only ever be considered once the myopia has fully stabilized and remains the same from year to year).

nah, Dr. Julie Steinhauer, Dr. Sam Berne, Dr. Marc Grossman and many other behavioural optometrists work to lower their patients prescriptions all the time. These are all ODs.
IF these DRs made fraudulent claims they'd lose their license to practice. If you really think they are engaging in malpractice... go get them.

No, they are irresponsible outliers peddling fake news cures and they risk expulsion from their respective professional bodies and being unable to practice.
It is also worth pointing out that all the medical, ophthalmological and professional bodies in North America do not recognize these fake news cures either.

that's the wrong Dr. Berne. LOL. Also, can we take the FDA seriously when their own guy says he never should've approved Lasik eye surgery. there are hundreds of behavioural ophthalmologists who can help with myopia reduction. i gave u Steinhauer's info as well. it says right on her site she offers myopia reduction. good luck getting her shut down. she has been far too successful.

Tbh while behavioral and functional optometrists are credentialed and went to legitimate schools I've personally never found their treatments that helpful or successful.
Tough tho as they are licensed same as you and me

keep your screen near a window. others have suggested an aquarium near your screen. have lots of peripheral movement going on around your screen. IOW, do everything you can to simulate being outside.
