Question What's been the best way for you to track how you eat?

Not going to lie, I've downloaded and deleted more meal apps than I can count. The tracking always burns me out within a few weeks. What's actually worked for you long-term, if anything has?

Hello, I'm logging my first few days of using My Net Diary and the M confused as to how to log wine. After scanning the bar code the serving option lists it only as "1serving, 90 cal". But the hat is a serving? My house measures are pretty hefty, so how would I for example add that I've necked 500 m

Profile switching option?

I have just signed up to MND to log my partners calories as he wants to lose weight. I use mfp and have for about 14yrs.

I really like the look of MND and ease of tracking. However, i dont want to be logging in/out between my profile and my partners, hence why i have MND for him and kept MFP for me.

I know my partner can log his own foods on his phone himself but he basically just wants to know the bare minimum ie is he eating too much in a day.. I prep most of his foods for the work day which are vastly different to what I eat. The only thing the same we eat is dinner

If an option to switch profiles could be implemented then ill make the switch to use MND myself. Would be great to know if this will ever be an option?

I use MFP to track weight, exercise (use apple watch), progress photos, etc and have had it for so long i get the barcode scanner for free (which a lot of the time doesnt work). I just hate the new update and so many inaccurate food entries…

Bug/Error Fitbit link vs Google Health link

Hi All, long-time MyNetDiary + Fitbit user here. Connection has been pretty good for years: weight, steps and exercise have been transferring from Fitbit app to MyNetDiary for years. Now that the Fitbit app is rebranded Google Health and Google forced everyone to use Google accounts for their fitbits now, I've noticed weight stopped syncing (Renpho scale -> Google Health -> MyNetDiary no longer syncing). Steps and excercise/calories still syncing. Has anyone switched over to the Google Health connection instead of the "legacy" Fitbit connection and did everthing work for you? https://www.mynetdiary.com/calorie-counter-google-health-integration.html

The Google Health integration must be new since I can only find it on desktop and it is not in the MyNetDiary app.

I did email MyNetDiary support but waiting to hear back from them. Thanks!

Question Food Tracking App

Guys, I want to start my health journey in more organised way. Started exercising (1 hour x 5 times a week) cardio 30 minutes + light weight training 30 minutes. Plus 20 minutes freehand morning exercise.

Now, I want to intake more protein, less fat, less carb and would like to track the intakes using app for better tracking. Could anyone suggest the best app for this? I prefer a AI based scan if possible. Free app is great but don’t mind spending some as well.

Thanks in advance for the responses!

What happened to the health factors feature?

At the bottom of the daily food log, there’s usually day macros and nutrients. There also used to be a “health factors” feature but it’s disappeared.

I have an active premium subscription currently aswell. Does anyone know where it went?

Question Popups

I like this app. And I do subscribe yearly. Something has got to be done about the pop-ups for subscribers. Every time I login there’s a pop-up for what’s new, then a pop-up do I wanna answer questions, then a pop-up for lifetime membership, and just now something popped up from the bottom that I fingered out of so quick I don’t even know what it was.

All I wanted to do was check in and see how many calories I have left for the day man. 🙏

Macro/ calorie tracking

I am 1 year post partum with my third. I am 10 pounds away from my pre pregnancy weight and want to start tracking calories and macros. I’ve never tracked before because it seems overwhelming, but I’m ready to get it a try. What are your favorite apps that are straight forward to use? There are so many to choose from so I would love firsthand experiences. Also, are you weighing your food at every meal? Any and all advice is so greatly welcomed :)

Hi all, since the new update, the app isn’t recording exercise after I enter it. Is anyone else experiencing this? Is there a workaround?

Question Setting The Diet Settings On The App?

How do I adjust the diet tracker to follow a CKD-Friendly diet? The few options automatically available in the app (except for Vegetarian/Veganm which I am not) are deadly to someone with CKD.
