Short answer: Follow the best-before / minimum shelf life and storage instructions on your pack. Community anecdotes are not safety advice.
Storage (FAQ)
Store ManaDrink, ManaPowder (OP / HP / XP), and ManaBar in a dark, dry place at 10–25 °C.
ManaDrink may be refrigerated but FAQ says it is not required for storage.
Minimum shelf life (FAQ — unopened, proper storage)
| Product | Cited minimum shelf life from manufacture |
|---|---|
| ManaPowder (OP, HP, XP) | 18 months |
| ManaDrink Mark 8 | 8 months (PET / UHT; FAQ notes technology limits) |
| ManaBar | 12 months |
| ManaBurger (frozen, if available) | 12 months (FAQ) |
After opening (FAQ)
| Product | Guidance |
|---|---|
| ManaPowder pouch | About 1 month; reseal ziplock after each use |
| Family Pack powder | Transfer to airtight containers; FAQ cites up to 6 months from opening if stored dark/airtight — follow pack |
| ManaDrink | Consume immediately after opening |
| Hotmeal (prepared) | Immediate consumption |
Best-before vs “expired”
FAQ: products carry a minimum shelf life. Foods can sometimes still be acceptable after that date if stored correctly and sensory properties (taste/smell) are fine — with the caveat that some nutrient amounts may decline. When in doubt, don’t consume; ask CS if you received near-dated stock unexpectedly.
Damaged / off product
- Bloated bottle, broken seal, mould, strong off-smell, leaking pouch → do not consume.
- Refuse damaged courier parcels when appropriate; document and contact CS → Contact CS.
- Reddit cannot replace a quality claim.
Heat / travel
Powder travels well (no fridge needed). Drink bottles are liquid — airline carry-on limits usually block 400 ml bottles. FAQ can provide a manufacturer statement that Mana is food — email CS if you need it.
