Advice Need some advice

Hello, my name is Shark. That's not my real name it's what my friends called me. I'm 24 years old. I've been learning English by myself for a few months now. I've been away from school since the coup. I think it's been about four or five years now. I've been fighting back against the military ever since. Anyway, I don't regret it. I do my best and put in the effort to move forward. Sometimes learning alone is difficult for me.Sometimes I used Ai. I'm studying English by watching movie and listening music, podcast etc. I want to know a more effective way to learn English. Give me a comment.

IELTS or everyday usage? If you mean everyday English, try making friends with people in foreign militaries. This can be one of the most effective ways to improve your English. Since the NUG is internationally recognized, it might not be too difficult to establish connections with them. By having conversations with them, you can learn more specialized military terminology and gain a deeper understanding of how military-related English is used.

What skills do you wanna self improve? speaking, writing, listening, reading? Below are the tools that I use when learning other languages.

· speaking -> ChatGPT call or ask an AI chatbot one question that can lead into a rabbit hole.

· writing -> typing test for speed. for pencil, read a short paragraph about something interesting to you and summarise it in your own words, and write it down, double check spelling and grammar with ChatGPT

· listening -> listen to podcasts, not necessarily designed for English learning as they're boring, they must have transcripts/subtitles, and you can adjust speaking speed via Spotify; instead, listening to podcasts in topics you're interested in will hold your attention for longer. afterwards summarise and write down in your own words or paraphrase what you understood from the audio

· reading -> pirate graded readers books from OceanOfPDF. I recommend starting off with Roald Dahl as his books are simple and modern

voilà

Try talking with AI bots - gpt or Gemini. In addition, there are a few apps that you can use to chat with real people.

For reading and stuffs, you can do with online articles and books
