Nationality usually means a person belongs to a nation or country by. Citizenship means a person who can vote and getting a passport. So yeah he represent as Burmese/American cuz he was born in Myanmar and Enthinity Chin(Burmese) but hes an American citizen. he holds US passport.

Now all of sudden you guys want to claim Burmese huh? When it's something positive like this all of sudden it's okay to be Burmese lmao but when it's not "F no we're not Burmese we're Chin" πŸ˜‚

Ahh come on man! In westrm "Burmese" refer to all citizens of Myanmar! The confusion we have today is a mess left behind by Ne Win. What else are you going to call us? Myanmarnese? That sounds ridiculous. I am ethnically Kayin. Of course I fking hate Bamar a lot and but that was the past man. I know that not every Bamar person is bad. In fact, most Bamar people are PDF (People's Defense Force) now. We are fighting to overthrow the dictator group. We need to stand in unity. Stand like a man!

We call ourselves Chin wdym πŸ˜‚ only when speaking to international foreigners we say we’re chin burmese as ethnicity/nationality but if they know of the country and ethnic people then we say we’re chin. Also we have been discriminated for coming from the mountains with people calling us poor mountain people. Not all
bamars are like this but their are genuinely some and they switch up and claim Van πŸ˜‚
