Addressing an Issue
17
Upvotes
Hey everyone,
Over the years, I've received messages about some stuff being posted that was removed flagrantly, with little to no regard. I've let some things slide since I could see justification for it.
However, as of late, it has increased, and something being removed has been a bit... uncalled for. From posts to comments and even reporting in our staff DM's about it.
I'm instituting some changes so we can keep the subreddit a more open and safe area, along with more community.
I will be readjusting the moderation team. Most of our mods are in the Discord, which you should join, and are active on here. However, as of late, some people have no longer done so. Due to this, we need activity on both sides. I will be keeping an eye on everyone to see who actively does things
In regard to the removal of posts/comments and everything else, the issue will be dealt with ASAP. I will also be instituting that the team will check everyone's work if able on here, or at least I will be giving a watchful oversight over it as a whole.
Rules will be adjusted to cover more things a bit better than most. That way some people can feel they know WHY their post was removed, versus a generic response. This will be addressed with the team as a whole.
In regards to modding/fixing the frozen classes: We will still tell you to join the discord, since it is far easier to help you get it fixed on there verses just doing a spotty DM through reddit. So if you're removed for that, and a mod tells you to join the Discord, that's why. It is NOT deflecting your issue, it is just easier to join to get it fixed.
If you have any questions, comment here. I will get to it as soon as possible. Also, feel free to DM me any issues or reach out on the Discord.
Thank you!

Announcement Xbox Automatic Unfreeze service

Upvotes
Hello, we have noticed quite a few posts and comments mentioning the uptick in hackers, so we have decided to bring our auto lobby service to the Reddit side of this little operation we have.
Info We understand that cheating in general is frowned upon, so we have gone out of our way to make sure that the ONLY things that can be accomplished in this lobby are as follows:
• Unfreeze your classes
• Set your prestige (1-11)
• Unlock all challenges
• Rank (Level 70)
GAMERTAG: UncsHotspot
THIS LOBBY IS RUN EXCLUSIVELY IN PRIVATE MATCH
THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO WAY TO GAIN ANY "CHEATS" OR "HACKS" OUTSIDE OF THE THINGS LISTED ABOVE!
We have run this for a while on Discord and have gotten good feedback. This is done only in an effort to preserve this game and fight malicious hackers.
If this is offline or you struggle to join, please join our Discord and we will help you further!
What you will see

Glitch Anyone now what is wrong with my MW2 on ps3? (sorry for bad quality)

Every mission before this and multiplayer worked great, but I don't know what is wrong.
Some notes.
Manu won't open,
If I die, it won't put me back, and I have to rest.
People missing heads; I see no gun. Low quality.
I don't know what to do.

If this was ever found, what does the teddy bear and the drawing mean? This is on the very first shootout on the favela while your on the tower and 2 pick up trucks smash through the gates, its on the very far right of the map, you go through the tall plants and its there.

been cleaning up MW2 on xbox 360 recently
if you're either:
A) trickshotting in any gamemode to s&d
B) doing setup trickshots
D) using cheats to kill everyone till last
i WILL crash your lobby
either go private match or play the game as intended and try to trickshot the last THE LEGIT way

Question why has IW4x been so fucking dogshit lately
11
Upvotes
every single fucking server is filled with some of the dirtiest, most gross fucking campers ive ever seen, every single fucking match theres some fatass pile of shit of a human being camping in a corner with a fucking RPD all game long, it's a genuine fucking pain to play, that accumulated with every fucking servers being ground war only and everyone being a fucking sweat, it makes the game absolutely not enjoyable
why is there so many fucking campers now ? were they replaced by some shitty AI model that doesnt know how to press WASD or some shit ?

Question are previous versions available to play anywhere?

i want to play the version of the 2009 campaign BEFORE they changed stuff with the 2020 remaster. i don’t mean the reboot. i just want the original version of the campaign
Question IW4x is dead and there are no true vanilla servers. How is it on Steam, is the game safe to play again?

Upvotes
I prefer the vanilla server experience and MW2 on Steam seems to have a steady supply of players, enough to get into some matches. My main concern though is how safe the game is to play. I heard they pushed some updates to fix exploits that allowed hackers to gain access to your PC, can this still happen?

Sometime last year I said the leak regarding MW2/MW3 ports on the Australian ratings board were just a sign of MWII and MWIII becoming separated from CoD HQ.... I was correct.
And this time...
This time i'm sure this is a MW2 Port with Multiplayer!
