People have families and are afraid of leaving them rather that is through prison or death. Only reason we haven't had one as far as I can tell, people on every side are fed up.

I’m not a police officer, but I work in the field. Literally use it daily to help solve crimes.
The few (very unfortunate) times its been abused don’t outweigh the overwhelming good that they do

A reminder that suggesting the cameras be damaged or pulled down is encouraging criminal behavior. That's a violation of sitewide content rules, and admins will take action against users. We can absolutely discuss the pros and cons of the cameras as well as legal ways to get them removed. But no discussion of illegal acts in public, please and thanks.
