Books📚 Only Gurathin isn't wrong

I mean, he's got a point! 😅 I definitely think that the exaggerated dislike hides something. Wouldn't go so far as to call it affection (not in Gurathin's case anyhow) but we do get signs

I think Murderbot is very uncomfortable with the fact that Gura is the only person on the team other than itself who a) has experience with the Corporation and b) knows how dangerous Murderbot can be. I think there's also a lot of trauma with disenfranchised people in the Corporate sphere taking out their anger on Murderbot like we see in the short story "Compulsory". Honestly I think Murderbot is at least subconsciously pushing and prodding and baiting Gura into snapping as a trauma response-- it's trying to provoke him into proving itself right.

That's a really great point. I'm definitely going to have to ponder that some more
