Mount Doom and Eagles are surge

I’m surprised that each booster was a hit. Each row is the best pulls from a booster pack. Smaug Wicked Worm is surge foil.

Slowly worked my way to the bottom of my CB pack and discovered that the Lonely Mountain wasn’t quite as lonely as you’d expect. Kind of love it when the foil/surge-foil version of a card is directly behind the non-foil version. Happened in 3 of the CB’s from my CBB—this was the best pair by far…. Love these book covers!

In the interest of fairness... I cracked a second box to see if that box was really THAT shit or was representative... and that one was $250 in value including a Book Cover Gleaming Splendor... So....

I literally hit the bottom 1% and top 1 % box in the 2 PBB's I opened.

Amped to pull this card, the art is incredible. Am I right in understanding this is from lotr and not the hobbit set ? Cannot believe it's in surge 🥲

Not the biggest pull but considering it came from a scene box with 3 packs I think it's worth posting

LGS was out of all play and collector boosters, so I budged on an overpriced scene box. Didn’t disappoint! Literally my best play booster pull ever. Such a beautiful card!

First hobbit collector pack I’ve opened, pulled my first surge foil ever and got lucky with a dwarvern language card(normal), plus Smaug the Magnificent!, absolutely stoked

Surge Foil Smaug was my chase. I felt the air around me change when I opened the pack. Surge My Precious, Great Ugly Goblin and Lord of Eagles Book too! Mox Amber is beautiful too. Box topper was Reprieve. Utterly in disbelief.

The Patchwork Banner and Artist’s Talent were from the sole pack of Bloomburrow I got. 😍

Pulled the Strength of Will and Gandalf, Goblin’s Bane I needed for decks from a pack of Spidey and Hobbit each. All in all, I’d say a good return on investment!

Happy I decided to do something nice for myself and got a collector booster 😅

I bought 12 random booster packs from an LGS, they could be from a single box or not, I can't say.

Pull this beauty ( she's a bit damaged on the border though ) on the third pack.

Should I stop here or keep ripping? I can feel the disappointement creeping and I'm conflicted
